To stay abreast of the changes and new technolgies being introduced almost daily in areas like machine learing, AI, prompt engineering and, of course, cybersecurity, I decided to pick up some addtional training to beef up my coding skills for the next round of projects. I decided to go with Code Academy. I have used Code Academy for years but always using the free plan. I purchased a Pro plan mainly because of the professional certificates they grant after their exams. Because of the competiveness in the job market currently due to the layoffs in the industry, it has once again become important to have a certification to show potential employers.
